In line with https://ideas.saleae.com/b/feature-requests/use-pinch-to-zoom-in-out-on-macos/, but extended to any touch interface, be it Mac, Windows, or Linux. Most laptops today use multi-touch track pads and employ pinching as the de facto standard gesture for zooming. Many also have touch screens which fold or flip to be used as a tablet, and pinching is the main zoom gesture there, too. It's fairly ubiquitous at this point, and the moment I had to use the analyzer away from my desk, the lack of support for this gesture was an immediate and obvious wrench in the flow.
Edit from Saleae: We've updated the title to widen the scope of the feature request

"My computer has a touch screen, and I would like to be able to use basic gestures, like moving in time on digital channels, or being able to zoom/dezoom"

"I was very happy to see the software release for macOS that natively supports the Apple silicon. Is there any plan to develop an iPad app for the Logic 2? I have this question because Apple has opened up a SDK called Driver kit for device manufacturers to support their devices on the iPad. Seeing that you already have an app for the M1/M2 for the Macbook, I was curious to know if there's a plan for an iPad app in the near future."

"My logic 8 was the most useful tool I had before I discovered today that Logic 2 exists. This is amazing! My only feedback is that I'm using it on a hybrid laptop/tablet, and it would be nice to have a borderless fullscreen window option so I could use it in "tablet mode" a bit easier without the touchpad on the keyboard."

Scrolling on trackpad is tied to zooming on OSX, This does not fit the mac UI espectations. Please consider using standard scrolling on the trackpad as X-Y motion and pinch to zoom as zoom. For the mouse wheel then i have no preference

"Feature Request - Pich to zoom. It would be easier to handle the software in touch capable devices if the pinch gesture were available to zoom in and out"

It should never scroll up/down when you use the mouse, only when you use the alt/option key with it. Does it happen to you?

I think that mouse-based zoom should be triggered with a -configurable- modifier keys, as an [Accessibility Feature](support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/mac-help/mchlp2975/mac) already enables global zoom the same way. To avoid conflict with already defined system-wide zoom, Logic2 should propose a modifier key to enable mouse-based zoom.
