Import trace from text-based format

On top of exporting to a text based format (e.g. CSV), add the option to import from such formats.
This is intended so that users will have the ability to manipulate the trace data and generating new ".logicdata" files after manipulation, for instance when the contents of the trace need to be obfuscated so that they can be sent to partners without revealing sensitive information.

This could  also be used to generate waveforms based un analyzers output.

For example I have a quadrature encoder that 'reads' the position of an axis.

( I use the quadrature analyzer to decode the data )

I would like to add traces to show the axis position, the axis velocity or acceleration.

It would be awesome to have the analyzer generete the traces ( not simple, I think )

It woukd be ok if we could export the analyzer data, postprocess it ( this is already possible ) and then reimport the processed data and display it along with the original data.

    Hi Davide,

I believe we will offer import capability in the future, yes. It's a little far out (~late next year) but the idea is to be much more flexible in terms of getting data into the software.

As far as graphing speed, position, etc, according to protocol output - this is going to happen, I'm very excited about it. It's a big effort, currently slated to be rolled out early next year. Before that we need the next generation protocol analyzers which will be later this year.
