Add the ability to permanently remove channels from a previously recorded capture to save on hard disk space.

You can do this manually, but it is a pain if you are doing it on a regular basis, and the manual method is only as good as long as the .sal file format doesn't change.

Basically, you can rename it as a .zip and then edit the contents. There is a .json file that describes channels and other files that contain the digital and analog data.

It seems easy enough to implement and is a natural extension of the deletion of data before or after a point. (Thank you for that one by the way.)

"I have a channel that recorded a large amount of transitions that I would like to delete so that the saved capture eliminates this data. Trimming the left/right ends is great, and I know we can hide or show a channel, but can we delete all of the recorded data from a channel and then save?"

"If I recorded both analog and digital output, create the option to save only the digital output, or generally select which channels I want to save."

"Currently, we can trim data forward and backwards in time. But we cannot currently delete entire channel readings. For example, I have a saved capture file with an analog channel. I want to remove the analog channel as it doesn’t give any useful information for my purposes and I want to reduce the file size down. Currently, I would need to perform another capture to make this change. I feel like this should be a feature that can be added to a capture file.

One could also consider a situation where a certain captured channel may have exposing information in it and should be deleted before being sent to a client."
