That's strange... the channel names should persist when re-launching the software, and by loading a saved preset. Can you share the exact steps to reproduce the issue? We can't seem to reproduce it over here.
We tried the following:
1. Change channel names
2. Save a preset
3. Load the default preset (channel names change to default)
4. Load the recently saved preset (channel names revert to the name that was saved in the preset)
Hi. I did the following
1. Change channel names.
2. Save a preset
3. Turn of Logic2 (2.3.26)
4. Start Logic2
5 Load preset
Channel names still Channel 2.... saved names not loaded
Hi Stefán, thanks for those steps. I followed those steps in the video below. Unfortunately, I'm still having trouble reproducing it (same steps followed on both MacOS and Win10). Let me know if you're finding any discrepancies vs how you are doing it! vimeo.com/542857980/a5991d082f
It seems we’re having some more trouble over here with finding this bug. There are some things that might help us out if you can provide it:
1. A video of the issue
2. What model logic analyzer do you have connected?
3. Do you have any other logic analyzers connected to the PC at the time of the issue?
Hi Tim,
Sorry for late reply, super busy at work those days.
Im using Logic Pro 16 on Lenovo T15p Windows 10 PC.
This seems to be working now for some reason just when I was about to make video for you.
Hi Martin - I absolutely agree with you. I was also highly disappointed when I changed to the newest version. I use the device almost every day and have to reset the settings every morning. So I will downgrade back to the latest version...
Please also include saving the trigger settings. It would be helpful if you could just save the last one used in the session. For example, if I use a pulse width of 10 ms min. and then I need to do a live capture and turn that off. I'd like to not have to turn on the trigger and redo the trigger pulse settings again.

Has this been fixed? Else voting up. Have been adding the names to each channel the x15th time now. Starting to piss me off :o)

Hi Stefán, we've got this on the backlog to fix now! It seems we may have found the culprit, though we need some time to implement the fix.

Hi Stefán, can you let me know if the latest version of the Logic 2 software solves this for you?

This is imperative. Logic 1 had it and so should Logic 2. I am surprised it was left out.
