Support a display mode that shows the instantaneous voltage measurement (like a DMM).
Somewhat similar to the idea below, but applying to analog channels:

"Suggestion: Make a signal generator device, or may be just a logic signal generator device.
Motivation: Sometimes I need to make stimuli to a setup, which can be as simple as controlling input as either high or low at certain level. Currently I do that by wires and some switches. It would be nice to have a more professional solution, with some simple signal generation like pulses."
still a dream to see this basic multimeter view

"My end goal is just to monitor this pin from time to time.
...
the voltage on this pin should change according to some parameters during my tests and I want to make sure it really does. The best case for me is to have the ability to get the voltage on the pin directly to my test’s general python code (without saving to file).
For example: if there was a “getVoltage()” function that returns the value being monitored it would be perfect."

"I’ve got the idea to use the Logic Pro 8 has a 8-ch voltmeter for prototyping test. The goal is to have an independent dialog box with clear and big displays for each enabled channels (full screen size expand capabilities).
Maybe be able to define thresholds (min and max) with green background color if we are inside the range of min and max or red if outside.
I imagine that to be as visible as possible… means big size characters.
The fact is the current logic display is currently focused on time history visualization (means horizontal swipe) that makes sense for (ana)logic analyzer mode.
The HW is also capable of real time measurement but the current HMI of the software is not so convenient to be clearly readable for instant measurements (especially when all channels measurement display needed)."
