More complex analog triggering

To use the analyzer at a more professional level some more triggering is needed. It would be interesting to realize edge, glitch, width, window, interval (period), drop out, logic pattern, runt, slew rate. and external. triggers.
For example now I cannot use Saleae to find out a problem on a device that occurs once every 3-4 hours. With a trigger I could program it to wait for the event to occur.

my vote also to trigger on analog channel level above or below a user configurable value.

"I've got a Logic 8 and I'm trying to measure task execution times using GPIO toggling while debugging an issue in a real-time system. On this particular board the GPIOs are connected to optocouplers which results in a voltage swing of 3.3v (low) to 2v (high). I'm sampling on the LED driver side of the optocoupler because the other side, which gives me the proper voltage swings, responds way too slow to be useful. Because of the rather short voltage swing it's not detected by the Logic digital analyzer. I can see the swings easily using the analog analyzer but I have to manually search them to get the info I'd like. Are you aware if there's a way to set a trigger on an analog analyzer? If not, is this something that the extension SDK could support if I were to write it?"

If no, is it planned to implement this functionnality ?"
