It would be quite useful to have the feature classical logic analyzers have, where one can see the status of pins with arrows. Please see my attached picture. The status should be shown, even if no capture is active.
Saleae Edit:
This idea is similar to the idea post below, but for digital signals:

"Suggestion: Show the level on inputs even when capturing is stopped. Showing the level will then be just high/low and/or voltage for analog.
Motivation: When the analyzer is used just to monitor semistatic signals, then it is not required to have a capture running. Viewing some simple high/low and voltage will then be easier."

It would be nice if there were an option for each channel could show the current state. This could be implemented by having an option to "Show Current State" in the context-sensitive (right-click) menu for each channel. The current, time-discrete, state (logic or voltage) level could then be shown in the space on the left for that channel. This would be similar to connecting a volt meter to get an instantaneous value, but without the trouble.

It would be quite useful to have the feature which classical logic analyzers has: A monitor mode, showing the logic levels on the different terminal pins, even when no active capture is taking place. I.e. When the pin is low all the time, perhaps an arrow to the bottom is shown, when it is high, an arrow to the top is shown, or when there is activity on the pin, an up-down arrow is shown. Please see the attached example.
Thank you.
