The I2c analyzer from Saleae Logic 1 had an option to choose how the I2C address are displayed (7-bit or 8-bit)
I would like to have the option also in the I2C analyzer of the Logic 2 software

"It completely nullifies the workflow how Logic 1 software worked. I mean, even simple I2C debugging is now a pain, I2C addresses are forced to 7-bit (nobody ever uses 7-bit addresses!) and there is no HEX/ASCII combined view available."

Thanks Tim this is great and works for me.

We've added an 8-bit view extension to the Logic 2 software!

I understand your reasons but I'm more used to with 8bit addressing on my legacy system using some PCF8574a where the addressing is written with 8-Bit in the Datasheet. See attached image from www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/pcf8574a.pdf Chapter 8.3.3 Address Reference.
So I will be happy with an option to select how the address is displayed as in the Logic 1 Software.

Thanks for the idea. Can we know your specific use case for needing the 8bit address display? Since I2C addresses are typically 7bit, we decided to make this option the default and removed the option to change it to save time on implementation.
