Export to Matlab *.MAT file format

The older software version 1.X supported export to Matlab. It would be nice to have this as option in the new V2.X software.
I know that binary files are an workable option as they are run length coded and hence reasonably compact.

"Hello, I noticed Logic 1.x supported exporting captures to a Matlab file format, but that was removed in Logic 2.x. Are there any plans to support this again in the future? Converting to csv, importing to Matlab and saving to .mat is a hassle and very time consuming for large data files."
