For automated measurements in a Windows environment, it would be an advantage to have a C# / .NET API again.
Since many other suppliers (e.g. Power supplies) have such an API we are forced to stick to the .NET. Unfortunately, it's not that easy to write a good wrapper class around the Python API.
Nevertheless, we still need a Python interpreter, and not all of our PCs have one installed, but the .NET Framework is still available on almost all Windows PCs.
