Automatic bit rate detection for Async Serial in Logic V2.
NXP needs this feature to speed up setup installation. Purpose is to use a proprietary analyzer in python that uses Async Serial as input.
And unfortunatly bit rate depends on products and external clock usage.
For fast and reliable detection, a calibration pattern can be used, like 0x0A value.
Thanks for pushing this feature in next release of Logic 2.3

"In version 1.2.2 there was an option to automatically determine the uart protocol's boudrate. Why did it disappear in the latest versions?"

"Regarding the LIN analyzer, the baud rate can be determined from the sync byte, so it would be nice if this analyzer could automatically set the baud for viewing each frame. Thanks for a great development tool!"

Thanks for posting this! I just merged another related idea post into this one, along with the votes for it. If you don't mind, I also made a small edit to the title so that we can easily find your idea post (we referred to the feature as "autobaud" in the older Logic 1.x software)

This option was removed in Logic 2.

Merged with: Auto Baud for Async Serial Analyzer

"I was able to use the Async Serial analyzer with the bitrate "115200" for the first part. In the readable part it says, it will fall back to default rate. I'm not able to find the correct rate for the second part.
I hoped "Auto Baud" will help me, but there is no checkbox for it.
Is there any build in function, which I'm missing?"
