Animate Waveform when Panning Offscreen

In Logic 1.x, there was a clear animation when panning the waveform offscreen.

In Logic 2, this animation does not happen anymore.

We received some user feedback below on why this was important to them:
"At the beginning, there were many times when I dragged the screen left and right, no action was displayed on the program interface. I thought that the program died, and then restarted the program. Later I found out that it was because the graphics were zoomed to the minimum, because in v1.x There is this feature in the version, so it may be that the operating habits have misled me."

Animations can be fun to write and are generally cool the first couple of times you see them, but after a while they often become tedious and just slow things down.
However the zoom out/zoom in animation from V1 (I'm not just dreaming that am I?) was pretty good at providing context in the capture. In V2 a better option has been suggested: ideas.saleae.com/b/feature-requests/minimap-of-trace/.
A mini-map avoids the need for animation to provide context and is persistent - the context information is available all the time.
