I think, triggering from HLA or a protokoll-analyzer or a logical channel would be helpful

I love this idea. With Logic 1 I could set pulse width related triggers even after data capture which I could then skip between as a way of searching for interesting events. Extending that to an event search mechanism mediated by HLAs sounds wonderful!
